We have a wonderful 125 m2 apartment on the third floor of a delightful old house (1841, newly renovated), all light and quiet. The combined living and dining-room is very spacious and sunny, facing south and with a view of roof-tops and chimneys; from the kitchen you can see the sun go down (in the summer around ten o’clock in the evening) while enjoying the view of the wonderfully large and green courtyard -- as well as the architechturally highly varied houses surrounding it -- as a microcosmic cityscape in itself. There are three bedrooms (two facing the courtyard, one facing the street) each with a queen size bed (futon) . Everything is clean and simply furnished – shiny wooden floors all over. Since we have an extra apartment besides this we are open for non-simultaneous exchanges.

Our neighborhood Vesterbro is one of the old original boroughs in Central Copenhagen. It's a part of the city known and loved for its colourful life, its many theatres, musical clubs, restaurants and cafés, all an inspiring mixture of old and new: Here you will find one street maintaining its traditional high-bourgeois style while the next will be vibrant with a modern multi-cultural air; charmingly located in the middle of this you will find our house.

Just outside of the house you will find a variety of possibilities for leisure and pleasure activities. Within a range of a two minutes walk you will find: all kinds of well-assorted supermarkets and foodstores, including fish mongers, of many nationalities (e. g. Thai supermarket, Indian grocers, Arab butcher shops) . Speaking of food, the neighborhood is swarming with well-reputed restaurants, several Japanese, Indian, Pakistani, Turkish, Mexican, Italian. Right around the corner is an Italian take-away renowned for its pizzas, pasta & pastry (and ice cream! ) ; also a plethora of high-styled and cozy cafés and bohemian hangouts; situated at the far end of our street is the old, legendary Carlsberg Brewery, famous not only for what it is brewing but for its century-old fantasmagorically orientalistic architecture (open for walks and guided tours) .
Within a walking distance of ten minutes you will find the Imperial Cinema, a classical one-screen-only theatre and the largest of its kind in northern Europe; also a broad variety of stage and musical theatres, not only a rather large but stylish one, but also many traditional as well as intimate experimental stages (one such is located in an 18th century house on our block) .
All summer long the world famous leisure garden Tivoli, within a fifteen minutes walk, offers weekly outdoor as well as indoor concerts (classical and popular music) featuring many international artists: www.tivoli.dk
Our house offers internet acces (wireless).

Electronically, our place is equipped with television, DVD, hifi: radio, cd-player, md-player, vinyl record-player.
