My permanent home is a newly decorated penthouse on top of the four star hotel wich my father owns and manages. It is a medium-sized hotel that opened about 4 years ago in our beloved city, Timisoara. The hotel is mostly family run and we are proud to be in the business for eleven years now. The penthouse itself has only one bedroom and one living/dining room, but in case of need we can supply another Junior suite or double room. The penthouse bathroom features a jacuzzi and a massage shower cabin. We have a pool area and a gym, sauna, private parking, wireless internet and also a computer downstairs that can be used anytime. There is an elevator, a concierge during daytime, 24-hour front-desk and wheelchair access is possible. Buffet Breakfast will be included for exchangers to! Unfortunately for those of you that are passionate about cooking, the penthouse doesn't have any cooking facilities but I am sure we can work something out with the kitchen staff, considering we have a very big and well equipped kitchen downstairs. The view from the penthouse is really nice considering there are no tall buildings around and you can see some of the landmarks of the city. Maid and laundry service is available.
I own a BMW X5 and would be interested to exchange with a similar car. A VW Golf3 could also be available.
The hotel staff is very nice and well-trained and will be more than happy to help you with everything you need, information, arrangements for trips and we can arrange for someone to pick you up from the airport.
Our web-page is listed at the bottom and you can have virtual 360degree tour of the establishment.
Non-simultaneous exchanges could also be possible because even if I would be living in the penthouse, there are 49 other spacious and comfortable rooms to choose from! |

ART DES HEIMS:

| Das Quartier |
The neighbourhood where the hotel is located is very quiet and has a bit of a suburb-feeling to it, though it is just 10-15mins away frome the centre of the city. The neighbours are very nice and mostly it is a highly-evaluated residential area. Timisoara itself is a lovely city, also called "The Little Vienna" because of it's wonderful old architecture and many parks. It is a more western city of Romania and the occidental influence can be felt here. There is a small forrest outside of the town, in the nearby countryside hunting and fishing are organised and bring tourists to our city.
Timisoara is about 1 hour away from the border with Hungary, 1/2 an hour from the border with Serbia and about 2 and 1/2 hours drive from Budapest, the hungarian capital.
If you want to take short drives to the countryside, there are lakes in the area and only at a few hours drive there is beautiful, unspoilled mountain scenery. |

| Romania is a very beautiful country with spectacular nature and there are places that literally take you back in time, and not in the bad way, but through their simplcity and the simple people that live there, close to nature and in perfect harmony with it. The larger cities like Bucharest and Timisoara and Cluj have most of the modern european facilities and are also interesting to visit. The roads aren't great, but when you get to where you wanted to go you know it was worth it! |

I have been travelling a lot in the latest years but there are still many destinations that I haven't had the time to experience properly. I am truly open to any destination! France and Italy are some of my favorites and I would go anytime!

Hi, I'm Reghina, I am 24 and I have a Bachelor's Degree in Tourism and am currently finishing my Master in Hotel Management.
I am also a hobby part-time photographer.
I loved travelling since I was little and I love experiencing places like a native and staying there for longer periods of time when possible.
Staying in a hotel permanently, makes living in a flat or house fun and different for me and also reminds me of childhood when I used to live in a house with a big garden. That is one of the reasons that makes home exchange an exciting and interessting experience.
I sometimes travel alone, but I might be travelling with a friend or two in some occasions, or maybe a member of my family. We are all friendly and educated people, tidy and used to travelling, and we will take care of your home like it was our own!
