The apartment is situated on the 3rd floor (lift available). It has been recently refurbished. It has a fully equipped kitchen, a dining corner for 3-4 people, 2 rooms with 3-4 beds, and a bathroom.

The house is on a crowded main street. The apartment is oriented on a quiet courtyard.

This is our second home. Our son lives there together with some other collegues during the school year, so it is available for exchange from 15th of July to 15th of September. The apartment would be comfortable for a couple or a family up to 3 (4, if one would sleep on additional bed). It is available also for rent.

The apartment is equipped and offers amenities like: Cable TV, Internet Connection, Washing Machine, Fridge, HairDryer, Autonomous Heating, etc.

Exchange is possible also with an apartment in Piran - Portoroz, the most popular tourist destination on Slovenian coast. The apartment is about 830 sq feet, (76 sq m), 2 rooms, living room, kichen with dining corner, 1 bathroom, 1 WC, nice balkony. The appartment would be comfortable for a couple or a family up to 4. Also this appartment is fully equipped (Cable TV, Internet Connection, Washing Machine, DishWasher, Fridge, HairDryer, Autonomous Heating, etc.) It is possible to exchange the apartment either simultaneously or non simultaneously.

The position of the Ljubljana apartment is really wonderful because you are very close to all main attractions. In the radius of 1 km you will find cultural institutions, museums, monuments, historic center, the castle, the Ljubljanica river with its promenades and dozens of bars, park Tivoli, central railway/bus station, and of course also great restaurants, nightlife, stores etc. (go on Google Earth and cheque....the adress is: Ljubljana, Slovenska cesta 9B)

For all sport-addicts: park Tivoli is less than 500m away, there you will find exellent environment for jogging, walking, hiking, there are swimming pool (indoor and outdoor), sauna etc. and a real extensive forest, where you can do long walks....

You can visit Ljubljana for a short break – weekend and spend your time in the city. But Ljubljana also provides the best base for exploring the many different faces and beauties of Slovenia (http://www.visitljubljana.si/en/tours_and_excursions/surrounding_areas/slovenian-attractions/ . In this case you will need some more time....

If you want to spend some period on the coast – in Piran - Portorož, we will host you in an apartment close to the beaches, marina (less than 500 m), protected landscape park Secovlje salt pans (700 m away), the centre of Portoroz (2 km) and beautiful Middle Ages Piran (4 km) . The area is well known because of its Mediterranean landscape beauty, attractive sea, well preserved historic centers (Piran, Izola, Koper), developed tourist infrastructure (casinos included), sport facilities, and exellent food and wines. From here you can also explore either one of the most beautiful parts of Croatia - Istria (the border is 5 km away, Rijeka and Pula about 100 km) or Italy (Triest is about 25 km away, Venice 200 km). The Ljubljana apartment is available between 15th July, 31th September, the Portoroz apartment all year around, exept Christmas-New Year period

We are open to any interesting proposal for long week-ends in Europe (Amsterdam, Kopenhaven, Berlin, Atene, Paris, also other locations) and for summer 2010.....
We are also considering to visit other distant destinations (Asia, Americas, Africa)in 2010. Surprise us!

We are a family of 4 (adult son and daughter 10 years old.

Sometimes we travel all together, somethimes with a grandmother and without the son. We love exploring new places – interesting cities and towns all year-round. We love big cities, and their history, different cultures, food and wines, enjoying nature and attractive landscapes and, of course, meeting new people. We are careful and respectful guests.
