We have a lovely family house of about 120sqm on 2 levels with a nice backyard with grass, sunny terrace and little garden.

The lower ground floor area is composed of a living room, kitchen, dinning room and toilet. The living room is furnished with a modern furniture, has a fire place, TV area with large plasma screen and home cinema.
The kitchen is modern and in an open plan with the dining area.
The second floor has 3 bedrooms and a bathroom.

We can offer a car (only when we are on the exchange too and in the summer time) and 2 bycicles.

We also have a second home, a little house (cottage) in wine hills and forest area near Ptuj city. House is about 80sqm, with two bedrooms, kitchen, dinning room, little living room with a fireplace and bathroom. It's amazing view there, very quiet and lonely, not a lot of people around. There are abilities of hiking, resting in peace, walking trough forest, visiting a Ptuj city (welnness center, lakes, the oldest castle in Slovenia,...).
Our second home is ALWAYS AVAILABLE, but only if you like quiet and peace destination. There are only birds, lizards, vineyards, narrow roads...
It is 15 min away from Ptuj city.

Our neighborhood is very quiet, safe and appropriate for children's play on the backyard. Race is a little village near Maribor city (15 minutes by car), which is the second largest city in Slovenia.
Maribor is pleasantly small and lodged in the wonderful nature of Pohorje on the one side and wine growing hills on the other, with the river Drava wending its way through it. Maribor offers a lot of culture events, family amusements, sport abilities (cycling, adrenaline sports, golf, rambling, skiing and winter activities, wellness), shopping and other entertainment activities.

The position of Maribor is really great, because it is near a lot of big cities and national parks in Slovenia and Croatia. You can visit Slovenian's capital city Ljubljana which is one hour driving away. You can visit Slovenian's oldest city Ptuj, which is only 15 minutes driving away.
You can go on the trip in Austria, its capital city Vienna is two hours driving away. Also Zagreb (Croatia's capital) is very close-just about hour and a half driving by car. If you want to spend some time on the coast, you can visit Slovenian coast (Piran, Portorož, Koper, Izola) or Croatian seaside (Istria) – Adria sea is close and very, very beautiful.

We are family - Juraj is 50, Sabina is 46 (sometimes two adult daughters travel with us).

We are kind, modest family, who likes to spend a lot of time together, does some sport and exploring new places, especially on the seaside.
